PATTISON COMPLEX FIRE San Andreas The Pattison Complex Fire which was first reported at 1:40 p.m. is now 20% contained. The fire has consumed 1,650 acres, destroyed ten (10) homes, numerous outbuildings, vehicles, and equipment. Red flag wind conditions caused the fire to move quickly through the vegetation and spot up to a quarter of a mile ahead of it’s self. Approximately 3,000 people were evacuated from their homes. The areas evacuated were Quail Oaks Subdivision, LaContenta, Rancho Calaveras east of Baldwin. Those evacuated from LaContenta, and everything on the south side of Highway 26 were released to go back home at midnight. Evacuations on the north side of Highway 26 remain in effect. California Department of Forestry and Fire Protection Command Team 6 will take command of the fire at 6:00 a.m. Saturday morning. Due to the windy conditions the fire remains active throughout the fire zone. Winds are predicted to continue through tomorrow night. The number one priority is to control the fire and to get people home as safely and quickly as possible. FIRE CONDITIONS REMAIN AT CRITICAL LEVELS!
