For the duration of the fire: Persons with asthma or other respiratory disease, the elderly and small children should avoid going outdoors and should remain inside in an air conditioned environment. As a precaution, all persons should avoid outdoor exercise and strenuous activities. Anyone experiencing health problems related to the air quality, should contact their private physician or in the event of a medical emergency, call 9-1-1. In the event of an evacuation: Bring your medications, any special equipment needed for several days, and the name of your physician.
