RELEASE DATE: Sept 14, 2001 TIME: 1200 hours

The public is invited to a non-denominational appreciation and memorial service in honor of fire fighting, law enforcement, and support personnel for the Leonard Fire, the Darby Fire, and the National disaster. This service will be held at 7:30 PM tonight, September 14, at the Calaveras County Fairgrounds. The traffic pattern will be as with the County Fair, entering through the South Gate, and follow the directional signs. The service will be officiated by the CDF Chaplain, Jay Donnelly.
