Fire officials are extremely pleased of the efforts put forth by firefighters battling these fires. They also stated, “It could not have been accomplished without the help of all the local agencies that offered their assistance.” They also realize that burden of evacuations, loss of power, and road closures certainly taxed local residents.

The CDF Incident Command Team 7, CDF Tuolumne-Calaveras Unit, and the Personnel assigned to the Calaveras Complex would like to extend their thanks to all local residents in and out of the fire area, for their thanks to all local residents in and out of the fire area, for their cooperation and patience while gaining full control of the fires.
